**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Hospitality Coordinator we are actively seeking an experienced Food services assistant to join our team on a permanent part time basis to cover planned and unplanned leave. Please note, our hospitality team are expected to help with cleaning and laundry when applicable.

**Food Services Assistant role**:

- Assist in the preparation and serving/plating of meals to residents
- Dishwashing, clearing of dishes from the dining rooms/residents rooms
- Delivery of friendly and efficient food services to our residents
- Monitoring of food quality, quantity and reporting of any issues

**To be successful, you will have**
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Complete a NDIS workers check/ Police Clearance
- Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
- Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
