The Team

In our Retail Banking division, our customers are at the forefront of everything we do, where the Community Banking function will lead and champion the development and the success of the Community Bank shared value Business Model. In addition, the function will focus on drawing insights from the Community Bank Network that will help inform and feed into strategies that support its point of difference in the Community. This will be achieved by identifying and implementing key recommendations and initiatives which underpin the continued success of the Community Bank model.

Your role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with an analytical mindset who is keen to take the next step in their career. This entry level Performance Analyst will work closely with the Performance Analyst recommending solutions - both tactical and strategic - that support the broader team goal of ensuring sustainability and profitability of our partner network by providing the right support, decisions, and actions at the right time.

This role will support the Senior Manager Community Banking Operations as well as the broader Community Banking team with reporting, compilation of reports and presentations as well as other administrative support.

This is a Permanent Part time position working 61 hours per fortnight, which can be based position in any location Nationally.

Your knowledge & experience

Demonstrated business experience gained within the Banking, Finance or Accounting industry is desirable but not essential
A willingness to learn data analytics
A background in using data to support recommendations and decisions
Report writing, preparation of presentations and papers
Excel skills and exposure to other analytics tools, such as SQL and PowerBi will be an advantage, but not essential
Ability to work in an agile and flexible environment
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
Proven problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Excellent written and analytical skills
