**The Organisation**
Our client is a highly successful boutique Bookkeeping practice located in Charlestown and has been operating for over 15 years. This fast-paced organisation currently services over 200 businesses and has developed a positive and supportive culture of inclusion where everybody’s contributions are valued.
**About the role**
The position involves providing high quality bookkeeping services to a variety of industries and business clients in the Hunter region, and some nationally. This diverse portfolio of clients provides for a fast-paced environment, working with tight time constraints, therefore it is imperative to work to a schedule and be organised. Your duties will include:
- Deliver high quality financial accounting services
- Provide bookkeeping services including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and reporting
- Preparation of end of month balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements and financial statements
- Single Touch payroll and superannuation reporting
- Correspondence with the ATO and other relevant agencies
- Data entry skills
**Skills & Experience Required**
- Minimum 3 years Bookkeeping experience
- BAS agent; (desirable)
- Excellent knowledge of MYOB and XERO;
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Ability to multitask and prioritise competing deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
