About the Role
As a Product Governance Expert, you are to assist with the ongoing governance of Products in line with Product Management Policy and related obligations.
You are also to assist with governance and oversight activities in relation to Product Obligations (e.g Design and Distribtion Obligations), regulatory requests and associated uplift activities to ensure ANZ meets regulatory obligations with regards to products

What will your day look like?
**This role is accountable for**:
Assisting in the development and management of tools and practices to support product risk assessmentsgovernance activities in line with obligations.
Assisting in governance activities to support product compliance, including validation that committed actions have been adequately delivered and/or where further uplift activities may be required to support ongoing compliance.
As required, preparing and/or providing input to papers to update regulators on activities.
As required, providing support to the Product Governance Lead for regulatory uplift initiatives for product governance and remediation.
As required, supporting Internal Audit issue implementation related to product governance.
As required, preparing, and providing input and/or support for paper requests to forums/committees as it relates to Product Governance (e.g. Risk Committees OREC and Board).
Delivering continuous improvement in Product governance practices.
Collaboration with Assurance and Risk partners to ensure that the team adheres with policies, standards and/or regulatory obligations.
Supporting Product Governance Lead with governance practices across the Division.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Demonstrated capability in engaging with stakeholders across various business areas (i.e., challenge stakeholders constructively to drive and achieve viable outcomes).
Good understanding of the regulatory landscape as it relates to the Division, exemplified by familiarity with Product related obligations (e.g Design and Distribution Obligations).
Experience in preparing regulatory response documents and/or formal papers.
Proven aptitude in analysis and problem-solving.
Strong verbal and/or written communication skills, facilitating clear and effective interaction.
Strong organisational abilities, including adept at prioritisation to deliver what is critical at the point in time.
