Your New Role

Join Guild Insurance's Product and Underwriting team as a Product Governance Analyst, based in Melbourne or Sydney. Reporting to the Head of Underwriting Operations, you will lead the implementation and maintenance of our Product Governance Framework, ensuring our insurance products remain compliant, customer-focused and aligned with business strategy.

You will work across teams to monitor product performance, manage risk and support training and customer communications that reflect our commitment to clarity and value.

What you'll be doing
  • Maintain the Product Governance Framework and manage product review schedules and reporting
  • Lead product reviews with internal experts to ensure compliance and alignment with underwriting policies
  • Identify and manage product risks and compliance issues, driving improvements where needed
  • Promote customer value by enhancing products and supporting resolution of feedback
  • Oversee product distribution governance in line with FAR and PDDO requirements
  • Deliver product training and updates to internal teams
  • Review marketing and customer materials for product accuracy and alignment
  • Build strong relationships across teams to support governance initiatives
What you'll bring

You have experience in product governance, underwriting or portfolio management in insurance or financial services, ideally with Financial Lines exposure. You understand frameworks like FAR, PDDO and UCT and bring a strong compliance mindset.

You communicate clearly, engage stakeholders effectively and turn complex requirements into practical solutions. You are organised, proactive and committed to delivering compliant, customer-focused products.

Qualifications and experience:
  • Degree in risk management, law, business or related field
  • Certifications in governance, compliance or insurance (e.g. ANZIIF or RG146) are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of general insurance products and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in training or content development is advantageous
