**Requirements**:

- Reliable car with Comprehensive Insurance
- Drivers License
- Blue & Yellow Cards
- Minimum Cert 3 in Individual Support
- _or, _relevant qualification in an adjacent field e.i. Nursing, psychology, OT, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Cert 3 Community Services.
- Availability multiple days of the week to complete 6 am - 9 am and 3 pm - 8 pm shifts to support clients who require before and after school support, or transport to appointments.
- The above shift times are approximate for a general idea, not exact.

**Desired but not required**:

- At least 2 years experience in support work or Allied Health Services.
- Experience with Manual Handling _(highly desired)_
- Experience with tending to personal hygiene _(highly desired)_

**Additionally,**

We are specifically hiring someone to assist a middle-aged male recovering from a stroke. The shifts require picking him up from the Nothern region of the Sunshine Coast, taking him to SCUH for appointments and transporting him back home. He struggles with anxiety surrounding driving, he is fully mobile however can have some difficulty with one of his legs. For this client, we require someone who is physically fit and drives an SUV, Sedan, or hatchback to help the client feels safe.

Shifts are:

- Mondays 7:30am - 5pm (Attend an appointment with Client at SCUH)
- Tuesday 7:30am - 5pm (Attend an appointment with Client at SCUH)
- Thursday 7:30am - 9:30am & 3:00pm - 5:00pm (Pickup client, transport to appt and back)
- Friday 7:30am - 9:30am & 3:00pm - 5:00pm (Pickup client, transport to appt and back).

We require someone with manual handling experience to assist a young male with muscular dystrophy. Be apart of a small team to fill all shifts for his care. These shifts require learning and assisting his before and after school routines including personal care.

Possible shifts:

- Monday - Wednesdays 6am - 8am
- Monday - Fridays 3pm - 8pm
- Saturdays 2pm - 6pm
- Saturdays 2pm - 6pm

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $41.56 - $47.47 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 20 per week
