- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
**About this work area**As an IKEA Food Coordinator your responsibilities will include:
- Acting daily to secure food safety and operational and minimise food waste together with the team.
- Overseeing the daily operations of the operations team, including allocating tasks, coordinating breaks, tasks, and effectively supporting smooth and efficient daily operations.
- Supporting with the analysis and continuous improvement of processes to provide the best possible service to our customers.
- Contributing to ensuring all required compliance activities are completed and accurately recorded daily to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers.
- Ensuring that every customer has an excellent shopping experience by supporting the team to see through the customer’s eyes and continuously improve based on customer feedback.
As an IKEA Food Coordinator you have:
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate the day-to-day operations on the floor and delegate tasks to others based on priorities.
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment, and a drive to contribute to achieving daily sales targets.
- A customer centric mind-set, keeping the customer’s experience at the forefront of everything you do, and acting upon feedback to provide a safe, healthy, affordable and joyful food experience.
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels and lead with IKEA values at heart.
- Curiosity and the drive to continuously learn and develop, along with adaptability to lead and support during change.
