**The role**

Mineral Resources are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Superintendent to join our Site Services team.

The role reports into the Site Services General Manager and the primary purpose will be to advise and oversee all operations at the camp in the food and beverage space. This includes the development and implementation of menus and its cost management as well as retail operations. Your responsibility is to engage with site leaders and staff to ensure the consistent delivery of services in accordance with the company’s contractual and legislative requirements.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide a high level of support to the Superintendents, Camp Managers and Site Services staff; communicating changes that are relevant to the on-going running of food and beverage/retail operations.
- Plan and coordinate menus/themes and their implementations across sites to ensure Villages comply with Standards set.
- Executive menu and function planning
- Conduct regular and systematic compliance auditing onsite and engage external auditor where applicable.
- Maintain Food Safety Plan/Wet Mess Plan
- Develop and deliver training to Camp Managers head Chefs to remain relevant and compliant with industry practices.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Tertiary qualifications or progression towards completion of Cert IV Hospitality Management
- Trade Certificate in Cookery
- Extensive experience in Food and Beverage operations
- Demonstrated experience with menu planning & budgeting.
- Ability to work as a leader of a team, oversee the day to day operations of the Minesite village Food, Beverage and Retail operations
