**Are you looking to start your career with the Council?**

Under a Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative, we are seeking highly motivated individuals who have a high attention to detail and excellent organisational skills to undertake business traineeships ( 2 traineeships) with the City of Gold Coast at the Carrara Depot.

**Individuals must meet one or more of the following criteria to apply**:

- Young people (aged 15-24 years), including those in and transitioned from out-of-home care
- long-term unemployed job seekers
- mature-age job seekers (aged 45 years or older)
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- migrants and refugees from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- people with disability
- displaced workers
- women re-entering the workforce
- veterans, ex-ADF personnel and their families.

**Fleet Services - Administration Traineeship Role**

**Duties Include but are not limited to**
- Answering phone calls
- Electronic filing
- Scheduling Vehicle maintenance
- Stock Operations
- Data Entry

**Requirements**
- Strong willingness to learn
- Positive attitude
- Punctual and respectful
- White Card (as you may be in high risk areas at times)
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle

**The Typical requirements trainees will need are**:
Functional capacity assessment / pre-employment medical/ drug test required

Note: Hours of work are typically 6:30am-3:30pm for field
- based roles - but your hours may vary depending on the department of the traineeship.

Note: Traineeship wages do apply.

**Salary**: $16.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gold Coast, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: One location
