The Value Stream Lead for Acquire & Onboard is responsible for driving the strategic vision and roadmap across key customer lifecycle journeys that covers multiple products, portfolios and channels. The role is focused on the ‘what’ and inspires squads to achieve their shared mission by guiding them on what to work on to achieve great customer outcomes.

The Value Stream Lead ensures that the work is strategically aligned to the tribe mission and engages with other Product Owners and relevant external stakeholders to align and manage interdependencies. It is a key leadership role, galvanizing the squads around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver customer value at pace.

Value Stream Leads are;
People leaders who care for and nurture the growth of their people to ensure they are inspired by a sense of purpose and are continually building their mastery and autonomy.
Experts in being able to turn data into insights and insights into outcome.

They also need to have a strong grasp on data and how to make informed decisions based on interpreting various data sets whilst also being commercially sound in decision making and prioritisation.

What will your day look like

**This role is accountable for**:
Accountable for the priorities and outcomes across the Value Stream
Cross-upskill across the Value Stream
Develop, drive and iterate Value Stream Roadmap (build the journey and roadmap to deliver)
Define and measure success outcomes/metrics
Commercial accountability for delivering on clearly defined OKRs
Stakeholder ownership & engagement - aligning work delivery with stakeholders & educating other Tribes (generosity in developing others capability across the organisation)
Connecting the bank / functional knowledge and domain expertise to know what functions to bring together how to create coalition and influence across the bank to deliver outcomes
Work prioritisation across value streams
Driving culture and engagement across the organisation (ANZ wide) for respective Value Stream
Strong awareness of market trends and data insights.
Bring thought leadership, leading market best practice relevant to their Value Stream mission to innovate and drive outcomes
End to End ownership of the Product Area
Define the product area work, including the dependencies across product areas and other squads/tribes
Break the work down into Features, and manage the Value Stream Backlog of work with your Product Owners, including capacity to deliver
Ensure delivery of agreed Features, proactively allocating work across the Squads and managing budgets, risks and dependencies across the Area
Create a safe environment where people are engaged in the work, motivated to deliver and feel part of a highly effective team -where it is safe to take up your role and raise concerns
Execution of the Value Stream Strategy
Co-develop your product area strategic roadmap with the Tribe Lead, Product Owners and business partners and refine the mission as required
Work with your Product Owners to break down prioritise and sequence the work
Unify the Product Owners and squads to support the mission and it’s delivery
Work with the Product Owners to re-prioritise or re-sequence any work that is not complete
Share progress with the wider organization
Remove roadblocks and manage alignment and interdependencies with other product areas or squads
Develop Expertise across your Area
Has a vision for the expertise of the Value Stream and monitors and drives capability development
Contributes expertise to support the realisation of Value Stream and tribe missions
Pushes the boundaries of expertise to innovate, test and learn and experiment
Continuously develops expertise and stays up-to-date with emerging trends, practices and information in area of expertise and more broadly
Works with Tribe Lead to understand and plan for workforce capability needs, current and future
