**People and Culture Advisor - 12 month Fixed Term Contract**

Carrington is a not-for-profit centre of excellence for retirees, providing a focus on person-centred quality care and health services to consumers of Independent Living, Residential Care and Community Care.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a People and Culture Advisor for a 12-month Fixed term Opportunity. There may be an opportunity for permanency upon successful completion of the initial 12-month contract.

**About the role**

As a People and Culture Advisor, you will provide advice and strategic support on all aspects of People & Culture.

Reporting to the General Manager People and Culture; you will work closely with our leaders to deliver practical, fair and sound people advice and delivering IR specific projects

Support and advise on performance, ER and complex workplace investigations.

Provide proactive workforce performance management, supporting leaders to create performing and highly engaged teams

You will ensure compliance, manage employee relations issues, and contribute to building a positive workplace culture.

**Essential criteria**:

- At least 5 years’ experience in Senior P+C role, with strong knowledge and experience of industrial relations legislation;
- Degree Qualified in a related area
- Experience in Performance Management / EBA interpretation, and consultation
- Business Partnering in all aspects of People and Culture
- Policy research development and execution
- Excel - High Proficiency and very good working knowledge or other Microsoft products.
- Ability to work on site
