Carrington is a not-for-profit centre of excellence for retirees, providing a focus on person-centred quality care and health services to consumers of Independent Living, Residential Care and Community Care.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a People and Culture Advisor for a 12-month fixed term opportunity. There may be an opportunity for permanency upon successful completion of the initial 12-month contract.

**About the role**

As a People and Culture Advisor, you will provide advice and strategic support on all aspects of People & Culture.

Reporting to the Executive Manager People and Culture, you will:

- Work closely with our leaders to deliver practical, fair and sound people advice and delivering IR specific projects
- Support and advise on performance, ER and complex workplace investigations.
- Provide proactive workforce performance management, supporting leaders to create performing and highly engaged teams.You will ensure compliance, manage employee relations issues, and contribute to building a positive workplace culture.

**Essential criteria**:

- At least 5 years’ experience in Senior P+C role, with strong knowledge and experience of industrial relations legislation
- Degree qualified in a related area
- Experience in Performance Management / EBA interpretation and consultation
- Business Partnering in all aspects of People and Culture
- Policy research development and execution
- Excel - High proficiency and very good working knowledge of other Microsoft products
- Ability to work on site
