**Position Summary**:

- The Flight Line Crew Leader is responsible for providing oversight to the A-level workforce with respect to Flight Line and minor maintenance activities.**Main Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate flight line activities to execute the planned flying program.
- Ensure that the aircraft is fit for the intended sortie whilst discharging the Dispatch to Operator function.
- Supervise and certify high-frequency scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance.
- Be dedicated to exceeding the customers’ expectations and delivering an efficient operation, whilst maintaining a safe environment.
- Ensure that the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is carried out in accordance with Pilatus/OEM approved publications/instructions using approved parts supplied from approved sources.
- Make certain that staff have been correctly trained and certified to carry out the work assigned to them and that the procedures laid down in the MOE are followed.
- Deploy in support of deployed ADF operations.
- Ensure that all procedures are carried out IAW the PTS MOE
- Actively support and participate in the Jet Aviation Core Values and Safety, Security and Environment policies and procedures as detailed in the Jet Aviation Governance and Polices.
- Work with the Flight Line Coordinator to foster a sense of ‘Safety First’ within the A-level workforce.
- Maintain good relationships with the customer.
- Report and raise any observations, through the appropriate process, regarding continuous improvement, safety management and customer satisfaction.
- Other duties as may be directed by your supervisor from time-to-time to support program success.
- In conjunction with the continuous airworthiness section, place the allocation of aircraft for the daily flying program.

**Main Responsibilities Cont.**:

- Ensure that all required maintenance is identified and completed before aircraft is released.
- Liaison with operational programming authority to align projected aircraft status and flight line resources with expected sortie and configuration requirements.
- Ensure tasked aircraft are released for aircrew acceptance a minimum of 30 minutes ahead of planned take-off time.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Demonstrated understanding if Aviation regulatory requirements for maintenance under Part 145.
- Demonstrable safety focus.
- Highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to liaise with a wide range of people.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions as well as meeting minimum physical requirements of the job.
- Ability to deploy on notification nationally or internationally.
- Ability to access DRN
- Minimum Cert IV Aeroskills (desirable not essential)

**Desired Characteristics**:

- DASA B1.1 license
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, effectively plan and be proactive in all facets of the role to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)
- Previously held an Australian Defence Force Security clearance
- Highly self-motivated and willing to use initiative.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

**Work Environment**:
The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
