About the Role

Join the AIR 5428 Pilot Training System at RAAF Base East Sale and play a vital role coordinating daily flight operations that train Australia's future military pilots. This fast-paced role offers hands-on experience managing complex schedules in a dynamic, real-time aviation environment.

You'll work closely with military aircrew, instructors, and support teams, ensuring safe and efficient flying programs as part of Australia's premier pilot training initiative.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and execute daily flight schedules for the AIR 5428 Pilot Program
  • Prepare and deliver flying briefings using PTS OPS displays
  • Obtain and interpret NOTAMs and weather info from NAIPS and BoM
  • Disseminate relevant operational info to units
  • Support night flying and deployment activities as required

About you:

  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with flight scheduling software (e.g., ULTRA Flight Pro)
  • Ability to work on a rostered basis, including nights and deployments
  • Proficient in MS Office

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of NAIPS and NOTAMs
  • Passion for aviation or experience in flight operations or scheduling

Special Requirements:
