Grow your career with a global retailer as a Buying Assistant, supporting our grocery - food categories, within our Buying team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. **This is a full time permanent position.**

In this pivotal role, you will join a team that is at the heart of what makes ALDI unique: our products. As part of the Buying team, you will be involved in the journey of our products, from conception to our store shelves.

**What does the role look like?**
- Assisting the Buying Director/Manager in end-to-end buying processes
- Drive new product development (NPD)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with various suppliers
- Deliver on project initiatives and deadlines
- Contribute with artwork design and product specification development
- Manage advertising brief and sample management
- Assist in problem solving and product delivery/process issues
- Actively plan and forecast stock
- Providing and preparing information required for product sampling
- Maintain confidential product and supplier records

**Qualifications**
- Demonstrated experience in a Buying Assistant (or similar) role
- Comprehensive administrative experience
- Reporting and analysis experience highly regarded
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
- Ability to adapt in a fast moving and agile environment
- Ability to learn new programs, systems, and processes

**Remuneration**
- Transparent tiered salary range of **$96,800 - $107,600 including Superannuation.
