We are looking for an experienced
**Collections Officer **to sit in the Fraud Risk & Credit Control department, within their branch in Newcastle.

This is a relationship focussed collections role, where you will liaise directly with members, collecting on delinquent accounts.

**Skills / Experience Required**
- Minimum 12 months Collections experience within Banking / Financial Services
- A strong understanding of relevant legislative requirements which affect the collections process
- Excellent communication skills & ability to build rapport & develop relationships with existing customers
- High attention to detail & the ability to negotiate effectively
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn & ability to work collaboratively

This opportunity will allow you to
**utilise your existing collections experience/knowledge**, whilst also
**expanding your skill-set,** learning from a knowledgeable, and supportive team. You will also be provided with the opportunity to
**progress your career** across various areas of the bank.

Salary for this role is up to $60,000 + super (dependant on your experience).
