An opportunity has arisen for an Internal Auditor to join us to lead the team to provide professional support to all Councils, Scheme Members and Scheme staff on the effective implementation and use of internal auditing activities.

**The successful applicant will**:

- Lead in the development of an internal audit program including scope, schedule and generic and specific tools
- Leading on the support function helping Members set systems to close out any non-conformances identified as a result of the sector Procedure validation program
- Preparation of reports and communication on the learnings and required actions
- Provide support for the sector procedure validation program and mentoring of Member staff as required
- Management and delivery of audits as per the agreed schedule of audits
- Ensuring quality and accuracy of the reports provided to members
- Supporting the procedure validation team in continuous improvement in the service delivery
- Maintaining strong relationships with Member

**What you need to have**:

- Qualified auditor pertinent to standards PSSI, 45001
- Strong experience in auditing principles and processes with an ability to manage an audit team
- A team player who can support the development of internal auditing skills through mentoring of Council staff
- Current SA Driver’s Licence.
- intermediate to advanced PC skills, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
