**In this role you will be responsible for**:
An opportunity has arisen for a **WHS Internal Auditor** to join our team to provide professional support to all Councils, Scheme Members and Scheme staff on the effective implementation and use of internal auditing activities;
- Leading on the support function helping Councils set systems to close out any non-conformances identified as a result of the sector Procedure validation program.
- Preparation of reports and communication on the learnings and required actions.
- Provide support for the sector procedure validation program and mentoring of Member staff as required.
- Management and delivery of audits as per the agreed schedule of audits.
- Assistance in the development of an internal audit program including scope, schedule and generic and specific tools.
- Maintaining strong relationships with Members.
