**About the Role**

Due to ongoing expansion of our service, we have a number of Disability Support Worker/Mental health support worker vacancies in Eastern/South Eastern Suburbs in Melbourne. We are keen to speak with applicants who are committed to delivering quality care for our consumers.

- Contact with clients will be at our sites, as well as in their own accommodation.

**What you need**:

- Cert III Individual Supports and / or Cert IV Disability and / or Mental Health Care Qualification, or equivalent are preferred.
- Highly preferable experience of working with people with Autism/ADHD, Mental Health, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Mental Health, Dementia & Advance Manual Handling Supports, Behaviours of Concern, Restrictive Practices will be highly regarded.
- Current working with Children Check
- Driver’s Licence, access to a reliable car and a willingness to use for transporting consumers (Where needed).
- Up to date Vaccinations (including COVID), CPR & First Aid & the right to work in Australia.

**Your attributes**:

- An understanding of NDIS and a commitment to it’s principal
- Work within the NDIS code of conduct.
- Completion of NDIS worker orientation module
- Ability to work autonomously, within a team, to assess, manage and respond to risk within the community.
- Respond to consumers’ needs, collaborate positively with their families, support people and others in their lives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - clear concise English.
- Maintaining daily recording records and data collection records (training provided).
- Computer, iPhone, and iPad skills

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 38 per week
