**Your Opportunity**
- To ensure safekeeping, collection of cash, cheque’s, credit card vouchers etc. and distribute petty cash payment in accordance with hotel’s policies and procedures, business needs, local banking regulations and practices.
- Ensure that all creditors are paid on time and expense are accounted in accordance with the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry as well as Marriott’s International and local policies.
- Providing services that are above and beyond following Brand Standards for customer satisfaction and retention.
- Is responsible for General Cashier’s float and prepares the daily bank deposit.
- Prepares a daily General Cashiers Report, comparing the banking of each cashier to the Front Office and Food & Beverage report by Night Audit.
- Compile petty cash expenses weekly, issue and count any cashiers floats.
- Complete an overage and shortage form for all cashiers at the end of each month.
- Investigate and if necessary report over and shorts on the same day.
- Update foreign currency rates daily, prepare and reconcile third party billings.
- Prepare cheques manual on a regular basis and submit same for signature with all supporting documents. Reconcile the cheques with the Creditor's Statement.
- Prepare month end Petty Cash journals. Reimburse GCR's Petty Cash and prepare Month End Petty Cash Journals.

- 6 - 12 months of experience in a Finance role is preferred.
