About the Role

As HOSES at Durack State School, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping inclusive practices across our school community. You will work closely with the Principal, leadership team, teachers, and families to ensure students with diverse learning needs are supported, valued, and empowered to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities will include:
Leading the development and implementation of inclusive education practices that foster a strong sense of belonging.
Managing and coordinate tailored learning plans, behaviour support strategies, and evidence-based interventions.
Providing expert advice, coaching, and professional development to teachers and support staff.
Liaising with external stakeholders including therapists, community agencies, and regional support services.
Analysing data to drive continuous improvement in student outcomes and wellbeing.
Overseeing resourcing, staffing, and compliance requirements related to inclusion.
