Salisbury State School is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated and innovative teacher to join the leadership team as a Head of Special Education Services. As the Head Of Special Education Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the school's Strategic Agenda.

We are seeking
a community-minded individual with exceptional communication and instructional leadership skills who is ready to engage and inspire all staff to support each child's learning journey.Your role will involve building the capability of staff effectively, supporting curriculum, student engagement and pedagogical
practice for diverse learners.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

  • Strong record of supporting SWD to access the curriculum.
  • Co-ordinate a team of teachers and teacher aides.
  • Focusing resources to support SWD across the school via a case management process via Student Service multi-disciplinary Committee.
  • Manage key curriculum and data processes eg NCCD, ICP's, etc.
  • Produce high level plans to support inclusive education goals eg Risk Assessments, Reward Systems, Adjustment planning and implementation
  • Supporting a safe school environment.
  • Working productively in teams as both a member and leader of teams.
  • Participating in the management of the school as a member of a high performing Leadership Team.
