**Position Overview**
We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Mandurah. As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting NDIS participants with a variety of daily activities, assisting with personal care, community access, and skill development. Your role will be to build positive, respectful relationships with clients and help them achieve their goals through tailored, compassionate care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assisting with Daily Living Tasks**: Support clients with activities such as toileting, showering, dressing, meal preparation, and light household chores.
- **Community Access & Social Participation**: Assist clients in attending appointments, social outings, shopping trips, and engaging in community activities.
- **Promote Independent Living Skills**: Encourage and support clients in developing essential skills to enhance their independence in daily life.
- **Person-Centered Care**: Provide individualized support, ensuring the care plan aligns with each client's needs, goals, and preferences.
- **Support for Psychosocial Needs**: Offer empathetic support to clients with psychosocial challenges, promoting emotional well-being and social inclusion.
- **Documentation & Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date progress notes and records on client care.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other support workers, coordinators, and families to ensure clients receive holistic, integrated care.
- Have a genuine passion for working with people with disabilities and supporting them in achieving their goals.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Be reliable, punctual, and professional in all aspects of your work.
- Possess a proactive, compassionate, and positive attitude towards client care.
- Be comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

**Essential Criteria**:

- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current National Police Clearance
- Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Full Australian working rights
- Valid WA driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
- Infection Control Training
- Manual Handling Certification
- Completion or willingness to complete NDIS training modules

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: Up to $52.91 per hour

Expected hours: 44.50 per week
