**About the role and where you will be working**:
This role is a part of the Senior Leadership Team and has operational responsibility and leadership of our teams in Community Options, Community Mental Health, Family Carer Support and Disability Services
These teams do a wonderful job providing recovery and person-centred support in the community, to individuals experience long term mental illness.
Your key areas of focus will include customer service, service development, financial management / reporting, contract management and risk management.
**We’ll also be asking you to:

- Work closely with Home Care and Residential Aged Care leaders
- Lead your team to deliver services in line with National Standards for Mental Health Services.
- Coach, mentor and support all business unit team members.
- Achieve accreditation. Identify ways to improve & innovate.
- Lead the development of NDIS service delivery.
- Meet operational budgets report variances.
**About you**:
You’re an experienced leader with an in-depth working knowledge of Mental Health Services / NDIS practice standards, quality indicators and national standards.
Developing and mentoring staff comes naturally, and you take great pride in leading by example.
With a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives, you’re ready to step into a new role and lead your team in achieving excellence in service and compliance.
**To be considered for this role, you’ll need**:
- Experience in a similar role.
- Tertiary qualification/s in health, mental health or behavioural science.
- A robust understanding of recovery-oriented & person-centred practice.
- The ability to lead through change & communicate effectively.
- Commercial acumen.
- Have or willing to obtain an NDIS check
