Baseline Onsite are seeking an experienced Safety Advisor with a solid background in Perth based construction projects for an immediate start.

Baseline Onsite has been providing Security, Medical, Rescue and Safety services to the mining, marine and energy industries since 2010.

Our offices are operated by industry professionals who understand the challenges of often remote area work and the important role that our personnel play in maintaining a safe and productive work site.

Our client, a mining industry leader, is seeking a Perth based Safety Advisor for a 12 month period. In this role, you will be instrumental in promoting the general health and safety for employees and contractors across the organization. You will be working innovatively with the office-based teams across Perth to achieve zero harm. In addition, within this role you will also be pivotal in delivering a strategic plan, while enhancing engagement and awareness of HSE issues across the broader business.

Health and Safety Advisors should have a minimum of 3 years safety experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to engage work groups at the work front. Solid experience in Perth construction projects (‘fit outs’) is considered highly advantageous and will set you up for success in this role.
- Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety (or equivalent)
- First Aid & CPR
- Working at Heights
- Contractor Management experience
- Relevant experience in a health and safety advisory construction-based role.
- Adept knowledge of local legislation, legal compliance, and risk management practices
- Lead auditing skills
- ICAM Lead Investigator
- Valid Working Rights in Australia
- National Police Clearance
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and develop solutions
- Strategic thinking ability with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
