**HR Complaints Resolution & Child Safety Manager**

Join our team in Burwood as a HR Complaints Resolution & Child Safety Manager and play a pivotal role in fostering a safe and supportive workplace environment. This hybrid role offers flexibility with 2-3 days per week in the office.

The HR Complaints Resolution & Child Safety Manager enhances conflict resolution by collaborating with teams to promote local resolution strategies, develop procedures, and provide education. They oversee case file governance, conduct audits, and identify trends for proactive initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:
**Complaints Management Oversight**: Utilise the complaints management system to ensure strict adherence to workplace complaints processes, regulations, and relevant frameworks. Drive efficient and consistent case management, conducting preliminary assessments, thorough investigations, and timely resolution actions.

**Child Safety Advocacy**: Lead and drive cultural change initiatives, embedding child-safe practices and compliance within organisational policies and legislative requirements. Provide guidance, advice, and comprehensive training to enhance child safety knowledge across all levels of the organisation.

**Policy Development and Implementation**: Spearhead the review, development, and implementation of child-safe policies. Conduct internal audits to ensure stringent compliance and continuous improvement in child safety practices.

**Leadership and Guidance**: Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and guidance to support the resolution of workplace complaints. Champion conflict resolution methodologies, empower HR teams, and actively contribute to building organisational capability in managing complaints and conflict resolution.

**Stakeholder Collaboration**: Collaborate seamlessly with relevant departments and key stakeholders to align support services effectively, ensuring that organisational requirements are met efficiently.

**Data Analysis and Proactive Initiatives**: Analyse case data systematically to identify trends and themes. Drive proactive initiatives that create a safe and inclusive environment within the organisation, leveraging insights from data analysis.

**Documentation and Monitoring**: Prepare comprehensive documentation and continuously monitor programme effectiveness through meticulous case analysis and quality assurance processes. Identify and address compliance failures and systemic issues, proposing and implementing necessary improvements.

**Requirements**:
Proven expertise in HR complaint management, with a focus on resolution, and employee relations.

Strong understanding of case management procedures and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.

Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with internal stakeholders, external investigators, and individuals involved in complaints.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases, and uphold meticulous attention to detail.

Relevant qualifications or certifications in HR, conflict resolution, or child safety would be advantageous.

Valid Working with Children Check (WWC).
