We are seeking a Treasury Analyst to join the Group Treasury Team at Stockland. In joining, you will work with a highly skilled and collaborative team, leveraging your experience, and having the opportunity to broaden your Treasury skills further. This role will enable you to gain great exposure across the wider business along with the treasury process. As a result, you will be able to utilise the expert experience of this team to further support your career growth.
**The Opportunity - About the Role**
As Treasury Analyst, you will play an integral part in being responsible for delivering high quality treasury operational support to assist in the management of the Group’s treasury function. Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to;
- Managing the transactional workflow of all treasury-related transactions captured in the TMS (debt, fees, derivatives, guarantees) and including payment/settlement of transactions in relevant settlement system
- Assisting in executing bank guarantees and insurance bonds including analysis of exposure limits
- Support management of Cashflow and ensure preparation of funding notices for proposed drawdown, rollover, and repayment requests
- Support the preparation of monthly reporting (eg Board Report, Interest Rate Schedule, Notes to Financial Statements)
- Assist in opening of bank accounts and ensure KYC process for new accounts
- Reconciliation of treasury accounts on monthly basis and ensure that correct accounting treatment has been applied to all financial instruments
- Ensure compliance with relevant business processes and controls
- Liaise and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders), including other business units and financial institutions.
**About You**
- Appropriate tertiary qualification is required, such as in Finance, Business, Accounting
- Ideally you will come from a background working as a Treasury Analyst, with experience in treasury operations but we are open to also considering applicants with a financial or accounting background with exposure or experience in the treasury function and looking for a career path in this area
- Experience using SAP and Reval would be highly advantageous but not essential, you will be someone that is quick to learn new systems
- Strong across MS Office Suite, including intermediate level for MS Excel
- Well-developed skills in financial and commercial analysis as well as finance system and information strategy management
- Attention to detail is a must and demonstrated time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to partner with numerous internal stakeholders across the business and external banks
