We have an opportunity for a Treasury Services Analyst to join the team at our Sydney Head Office on Castlereagh St.
**The Opportunity - About the Role**
We are seeking a Treasury Analyst to join the Group Treasury Team at Stockland. Now is an exciting time to join Stockland as we accelerate the execution of our Strategy. In joining, you will work with a highly skilled and collaborative team, leveraging your experience, and having the opportunity to broaden your Treasury skills further.
Reporting into the Treasury Services Manager this position is responsible for assisting with delivering high quality and accurate treasury services activities, including treasury operational and transactional banking support, to assist in the management of the Group’s treasury function.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor & consolidate daily cash positions and support co-ordination of cash movements between accounts and subsidiaries.
- Prepare short-term cashflow forecast for management review, identify funding requirements and co-ordinate administration and confirmation of appropriate funding (including preparation of notices and payments).
- Support the workflow of all treasury-related transactions (debt, derivatives, bank guarantees & bonding), including co-ordinating all confirmations, authorisations & payment/settlements.
- Assist with maintenance of all transaction banking activities & associated KYC processes, including opening & closing accounts, updating authorised signatory listings and system access maintenance.
- Assist with arranging bank guarantees and insurance bonds including analysis of exposure limits and liaising with business units to support with operational matters.
- Support financial reporting of treasury activities, ensuring accurate records are maintained, reconciliations are undertaken and relevant accounting applied to all treasury instruments.
- Prepare timely and accurate reporting related to treasury activities, including (amongst others) maintenance of debt & derivative schedules, banking & signatories registers, mark-to-market reporting as well as regular compliance & counterparty exposure reporting.
- Liaise and develop effective relationships with all stakeholders including banks & internal business units.
**About You**
You are proactive and demonstrate a collaborative approach whilst also bing confident tp work autonomously. You are commercially oriented, insightful, and curious, with strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines. You will have the ability to building relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
**To be successful you will have the following qualifications and experience**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or Economics, (CA/CPA accreditation preferred but not essential)
- Experience in Accounting or treasury operations and familiarity with SAP and/or Reval is desirable.
- Intermediate MS Excel skills are also required
