JAPAC REWS Communications Specialist
**Location**: Sydney, Australia
**Contract**: Until End of Jan 2025 (with potential for extension)
**Work Arrangement**: Hybrid (a couple of days work from home)
**Position Overview**: We are seeking a JAPAC REWS Communications Specialist to develop and execute the internal communications strategy for the JAPAC cross-functional Real Estate Projects and Workplace Services Team. This role will prioritize revolutionizing communication and championing change enablement, fostering collaboration, understanding, and unity across teams.
Reporting directly to the JAPAC Real Estate and Workplace Services VP, you will ensure professional, effective, clear, and concise communication within the organization. You will support the wider REWS team with data compilation, reporting, presentations, and event coordination, driving informed decision-making and performance tracking.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute the internal communications strategy, including key messaging, communication channels, and tactics.
- Maintain a communication project plan and timeline for the region.
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure clear, consistent, and aligned internal communication.
- Coordinate internal events to promote employee engagement and foster a positive company culture.
- Drive key deliverables supporting the ONE REWS vision, including V2MOM, GIS Results, and leadership enablement.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of operation and training manuals, communications, signage verbiage, and employee engagement content.
- Audit and maintain content on internal communication tools.
- Support and develop Business Partner communications.
- Coordinate and present content to executive levels and large team audiences.
- Support WS Team and collaborate with Project Management team for project readiness communications.
- Initiate change enablement best practices and support employee education on workplace changes.

**Experience/Skills Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, PR, Marketing, Journalism, or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in a Corporate Real Estate (CRE) environment.
- Project Management and/or Change Management certifications or experience advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and strategic planning skills.
- Superior analytical skills and judgment.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and visual storytelling and communication skills.
- Experienced Slack user with workflow and channel management expertise.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Google suite products, Quip, and Slack tools.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and Vector works advantageous.
- Familiarity with technology tools for workplace services messaging, presentations, and reporting.
