Our client is a growing apparel retailer with both brick and mortar and a strong Ecommerce presence, that has an opportunity for an experienced Production & Sourcing Manager to join their team.

This hands-on role will be instrumental in managing production, from concept including fabric and trim development, sampling, fit and approval process, through to shipment of products.

Your proven experience in managing production within apparel will be key as you work with countries such as China, Bangladesh, Vietnam and Cambodia will be key.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Oversee the production and sourcing process for your categories
- Execute all styles handed over from the Product Developer
- Manage the production schedule and critical path
- Assist in running effective production meetings
- Analyse supplier performance across margin, quality, service etc.
- Focus on lead time improvements
- Manage supplier relationships, particularly as they diversify their global production

**To be successful within this role, you will have**:

- 10 + years Production experience
- A proven track record in a similar role within fashion apparel
- Established supplier networks with overseas factories
- Strong production and technical knowledge
- Leadership excellence with a passion to mentor and develop
- Excellent negotiation skills

You will work within a collaborative team environment, with one day work from home and a competitive salary package.

Must have permanent working rights in Australia to be considered.
