The Student Operations Unit at UOW is looking for a **Manager to lead its Enrolment and Progressions Team **at its Wollongong campus.
In this role you will be the operational lead for the central enrolment and progression activities for students from when they first enrol, right through to their final graduation. You will pay a critical role in contributing to students’ seamless progression through their degrees.
This role is a great opportunity to lead a team of high-performing professionals with a tertiary education industry leader at the main campus located in the beautiful city of Wollongong.

As the Manager of the Enrolment & Progressions Team, you will do important work that helps UOW achieve its mission to provide a first-class experience for its students. **In a normal work day **you will:
- Review the team caseload and set work priorities for the day, week, and month
- Plan and prepare for upcoming activities based on the annual operational plan
- Work with other staff within the team and across the University to problem-solve escalated and complex enquiries and cases
- Work with the Senior Manager on projects and improvement initiatives to streamline operations and improve the student experience
- Review and create standard operating procedures and policies
- Participate in meetings, working groups, and committees to provide advice to stakeholders on enrolment and progression matters
- Engage in leadership and coaching conversations with the team
**To be considered for this role **, you should have experience and/or education and training in:
- Leading an operational/administrative team to deliver KPIs, high-quality outcomes, and outstanding service to clients and stakeholders
- Managing operational/administrative functions in a large organisation
- Solving complex administrative problems
- Preparing reports and analysing data and information to make recommendations
- Communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders from a variety of cultural and non-English speaking backgrounds
- Experience working in a higher education environment and/or a large, complex organisation would be an advantage.
