**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for a driven and experienced Technology Sales Specialist - Smart Buildings to join our Sales team in VIC / TAS.
Reporting to the Sales Manager - Technology, as a Technology Sales Specialist - Smart Buildings
- Smart building refers to a range of technology solutions that are designed to make buildings more energy-efficient, comfortable, secure, and convenient for their occupants)_ you will be responsible for driving growth strategies across the customer value chain, including Consultants, Specifiers, Contractors, Wholesalers & End Users.
In addition, to working with a range of external stakeholders, you will be required to mentor internal team members on key market analysis and trends, product management tools and techniques.
Key tasks & responsibilities include:
- Build strong relationships with the Sales team to ensure Smart Building products are represented appropriately, aligning key value messages and initiatives
- Ensure budget is achieved in VIC / TAS and keep sales team updated on new product releases, developments and market conditions
- Develop strong relationships with customers and other potential customers in the Smart Building market segment to achieve create and win opportunities
- Lead opportunities where required and coordinate sales activities through proactive engagement with internal and external stakeholders
- Build, maintain and execute account plans around Smart Buildings solutions for specific target customers
- Develop and implement account strategies for Smart Buildings based on current and anticipated customer requirement for nominated targets
- Ensure NHP’s CRM is updated regularly to reflect activities and current information on projects and customer contact details and opportunity pipeline
- Provide customers and internal staff with pre-sales technical support, training, demonstrations, presentations and proof of concept
**PRODUCTS - Mainly Emergency & Exit Lights Monitoring System and Electric Vehicle Charging Load Management Systems. As well as Energy Management Systems, RCD Testing Systems & o**
**ther National Construction Code (NCC) Section J8 Compliant Solutions.**
This role will give you the opportunity to make it your own
**Ideally you will have / be**:
- Tertiary qualifications
- Knowledge in Lighting Design
- Foundational background and knowledge within the Smart Buildings sector
- Track record and experience in dealing with Consultants & Specifiers.
- Strong analytical skills in market investigations, sales forecasting & market analysis
- Ideally you will come from Building Services, Asset Management, Facilities Management or similar
