At MedAdvisor we design and develop software that improves people’s lives in the way they manage their medication, empowering them to feel more in control. Our free software connects individuals with their local pharmacy to assist them in taking their medication safely, effectively, and on time. We also drive health education and awareness through health campaigns and support programs.

Our co-founder, Josh, watched his mum struggle with more than ten different prescription medicines needed to manage her arthritis and Parkinson Disease. Living with chronic illness is difficult enough without the added stress of managing multiple medications. MedAdvisor was started to help people like Josh’s mum take back control and make medication one less thing to worry about.

**About the role**:
**As a Technical Support Team Lead, you will be**:
- Providing technical leadership and delegate duties and tasks within the Technical Support Team
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Technical Support Team
- Providing ‘hands on’ technical support assistance remotely as the workload demands
- Examining potential areas for Service Improvement and raise proposals with the Head of IT Operations
- Interacting with internal teams and external third parties to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
- Responsible in ensuring there are robust procedures and processes within the technical services function remit
**We’re looking for someone who has**:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or similar
- Demonstrated skills at collaborating with cross functional teams
- The ability to analytically assess and diagnose technical problems and implement solutions
- A passion in providing strong customer service and support focus with a desire to deliver a high-quality service
- The ability to effectively communicate technical information to various audiences
- Exceptional planning, time management, and multi-task skills; and the ability to manage competing priorities efficiently under time pressure
- Experience with a ticketing system (Zendesk, Jira)
- SQL and database management experience
- Experience with Windows 10 OS
- Knowledge of AWS products and services (desirable)
- An understanding of the pharmaceutical/ medical field (desirable)
- ITIL Foundations (desirable)
