**What You’ll Do**:
As the Financial Reporting Team Lead at CardioScan, you’ll take on a pivotal role that blends strategic oversight with hands-on management. Your day-to-day will be diverse, challenging, and impactful as you help steer our financial operations across multiple countries. Here’s what you can expect:
- Leading the general ledger
- Performing bank, merchant account and credit card reconciliations
- Managing the month-end process and overseeing billing supervision
- Driving continuous improvement in finance systems and processes
- Supporting budget variance analysis and preparing essential management reports
- Coordinate the preparation of annual financial statements
- Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements across all our jurisdictions
- Coordinating and managing group audits and acting as the main point of contact for external auditors
- Support Strategic Initiatives & projects
- Champion corporate and financial governance
- Work closely with the Financial Controller and interact with stakeholders across the Executive Team, HR, Operations, and more to align financial practices with the company’s strategic objectives.
You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller and collaborate with stakeholders across the business, including the Executive Team, HR, and Operations.
**About you**:
- **Experience**: 5+ years in finance, with a strong background in general ledger management, financial reporting, and compliance
- **Qualifications**: Degree in Accounting, CA or CPA qualification
- **Skills**: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of accounting software (preferably Sage Intacct), exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information across all levels of management
- **Personal Attributes**: A calm, mature demeanour with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines. You’ll also need to work cross-culturally and handle pressure with ease
**Applications should address the following key criteria to be considered**:
- Experience with acquisition accounting and the consolidation of financial statements in your previous role
- Experience with direct and indirect tax compliance
- Leadership experience with managing direct reports
