**Security Operations Analyst**
We are looking for someone with a technical understanding around Networking, Security Operations & Vulnerability Management.
An interest in the field of IT Security is essential as well as having some certifications in the field, a couple of years practical experience and experience using tools.
Reporting to the ICT Operations Manager, you will discover and investigate threats, test and verify security controls, maintain standards and coordinate incident responses. The primary purpose of the Security Operations Analyst is execute the information security strategy across the organisation.
**Key skills we are looking for.**
- Well-skilled in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, such as firewalls, routers, and other related hardware
- Perceptive; possessing high-level skills in spotting potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Ability to keep track of system activities and monitor processes as required
- Strong collaboration skills; often working in an office setting with other ICT professionals, working to achieve company goals
- Good knowledge and interest in new technologies and trends in cyber security
- Excellent customer service skills; able to provide high-quality, well-trusted security services
**You Will Have**
- Demonstrated working experience in cyber security threat management and Security Operations.
- Experience in technical operation of security solutions e.g. Gateways, SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, Vulnerability scanner.
- Good communications skills.
- Appropriate Cyber/Information Security related certification desirable such as CISM, CISA, SAN GSEC, or OSCP.
