**Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the store manager in all areas of daily business operations, human resources, customer service and merchandising.
- Coordinating, monitoring and reporting on daily operations.
- Recruiting, training and supervising employees.
- Managing employee schedules, conducting performance reviews and enforcing disciplinary actions.
- Monitoring, maintaining and managing store inventory levels.
- Ensuring the store environment complies with health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and aesthetically pleasing store front/desks area
- Resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that store policies and procedures are followed.
- Efficiently handling returns & exchanges
- Processing sales, payments, and quotes through Retail Express POS system
- Working autonomously at times to achieve deadlines

**Assistant Store Manager Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years previous retail sales experience.
- Previous experience in training and managing a team is preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work autonomously and with a flexible schedule.
- High level of attention to detail.
- A passion for, and willingness to about sustainability
- An approachable, adaptable, and outgoing personality; is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and adept at resolving customer complaints
- High level computer literacy
- Supportive of the team, other departments, and management.

**Salary**: From $58,000.00 per year
