The **Rover**:

- **Trade Counter Sales / Warehouse Operator**is a** Full-time**position, where you will support our **Gyprock Trade Centres**across** Queensland**. Reporting to the** Area Manager**you will join our** Gyprock Trade Centre**and assist in the deliveries of Gyprock to our customers and working within the warehouse.

In this role you will**:

- Travel between various locations across our sites in** QLD**:

- Overnight stay maybe required on some occasions
- To assist in the day-to-day activities within the store
- Processing orders, invoices and payments
- Maintaining high standards of displays and merchandising in our store.
- Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift or manually as required.
- Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping
- Covering the Store Manager position during absenteeism periods.
- Assisting with running SAP reports.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, from 6:00am to 3:00pm, with a 5am start periodically required.

**About you**:

- Forklift licence and experience is essential.
- Experience in customer service or trade counter sales, preferably in the building or construction industry.
- Ability to handle sales transactions, process orders, and manage stock inquiries.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and basic computer skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.
- Flexibility in travelling to different stores each day, as required by the business.
