Reporting to the General Manager - Education, Training & Knowledge Development, the Manager of CPD is responsible and accountable for the development and delivery of education content and knowledge assets to deliver learning products by PSA staff or contractors. This includes managing the CPD team to ensure PSA knowledge assets and intellectual property and content in PSA systems are managed. In addition, to deliver quality assurance through CPD accreditation and PSA Quality Framework. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate leadership and have significant experience and robust understanding of the principles of adult learning, contemporary learning practices, competency development and assessment. Coupled with strong communication, interpersonal, organisation, analytical, research and time management skills.

**Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Lead the development of education content and knowledge assets to deliver on product briefs, including quality, timeliness, budget and specifications, including managing IP;
- Design and develop products that align to the PSA education framework and principles, that are compliant with regulatory and legislative requirements/ relevant standards;
- Manage the performance and output of the CPD team to ensure the team deliver and align with the PSA Annual Operating Plan and product briefs;
- Work with the digital team, product managers, training delivery and events teams to ensure products can be developed and delivered in line with the PSA Annual Operating Plan;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement, innovation and identify opportunities to create and leverage existing products and knowledge.
**What we are looking for**:
- At least 4 years’ experience in similar role with significant experience as an education expert, as a health professional educator or medical technical writer;
- Robust understanding of adult learning, contemporary learning practices, and competency-based development and assessment;
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the issues and opportunities in contemporary pharmacy practice and workforce development;
- Excellent attention to detail in the production of education material, including commitment to accuracy, currency, relevance, and evidence-based practice
- Demonstrated skills in interpreting clinical study results and theoretical concepts and synthesising health related information
- Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
