**About the role**

As a **Cleaning Assistant**, you’ll be the magic behind keeping our homes sparkling and our residents comfortable. From cleaning resident rooms to common areas, your role is crucial in ensuring HillView Care is a place of warmth, care, and hygiene. Every task you do will directly contribute to creating a safe, welcoming environment for our residents.

**What you’ll do**
- Clean and tidy resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and more
- Ensure all cleaning meets HillView Care’s high standards
- Follow infection control procedures, such as using prescribed and appropriate cleaning agents and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of infections
- Play a key part in creating a warm and welcoming space for our residents to call home

**What we’re looking for**
- Experience in a similar role (but we’re happy to train the right person)
- Flexibility to work across both Ashmore and Merrimac locations
- Strong communication skills - Friendly and effective
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- A team player who’s adaptable to change
- Australian Residency or Citizenship (required)
- Willingness to obtain a police clearance certificate
