**About Us**:
Primo Care Disability Services has been proudly serving the Canberra community for over a year, providing exceptional care and support to our clients under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). As we embark on the process of NDIS registration, we are poised for significant growth and aim to become one of the leading NDIS providers in the state. To help us achieve this vision, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team.
**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the operations team to coordinate, plan, and execute operational activities.
- Formulate and implement strategies to enhance services for NDIS participants.
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with NDIS participants, comprehend their requirements, and coordinate services accordingly.
- Manage and respond to referrals, including creating service agreements and ensuring timely follow-up on service delivery.
- Forge strong relationships with existing Support Workers to ensure their ongoing commitment to client care, compliance, and work performance.
- Lead recruitment processes to attract and retain high-calibre staff aligned with organisational needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with staff to effectively manage care rosters for each client.
- Oversee the performance of staff members.
- Cultivate and uphold strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, families, community partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Work alongside the Accounts Manager to manage budgets, ensure financial sustainability, and achieve business goals.
- Guarantee compliance with NDIS standards and regulations, implementing policies and procedures to maintain high levels of compliance.
- Provide flexible support to address urgent operational issues or emergencies outside regular business hours.
- Develop and implement plans to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Engage with management teams to ensure the execution of company processes.
- Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the organisation and with Managers as a proficient developer of solutions to business challenges.
- Travel within the ACT and surrounding area to meet business needs.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in an operations management role, preferably within the healthcare or disability services sector.
- Strong understanding of NDIS guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective operational strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
