Early Childhood Educator

Brilliant Stars Early Learning Center is a 32 - place purpose built, privately owned and operated with a unique design and philosophy based on family virtues. Providing each child with the best opportunity to grow and learn in a welcoming environment for children and families. We are looking for educators with: A passion and joy for working with children - predominantly toddlers; A positive approach to supporting children and their families; An intention to work and learn with our children for a meaningful period of time; and Excellent written and verbal communication skills. In this meaningful and important role, you will: love and care for tiny humans with respect and passion; develop and implement random educational activities at a moments notice, or in line with a child's interest ‘right now’ whilst also planning activities for the future; engage young minds to understand the value of sleep and good eating for growing minds and bodies;
**Qualifications & experience**:

- Successful applicants will have: - Certificate III in Children's Education and Care; or - Diploma in Children's Education and Care - or studying for one; or - Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education/Teaching.

Current Working with Vulnerable People CardCurrent First Aid Certificate (ACECQA approved)

Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate (ACECQA approved)

Knowledge of EYLF and NQS

Experience with implementing programs and completing observations.

Current approved Child Protection Qualification

**Tasks & responsibilities**:
Leading, guiding and supporting a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care;
Planning, implementing and evaluating programs for children that align with our values, philosophy and policies.

Developing strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues, children, parents and families.

Implementing and always upholding the policies and associated procedures and practices of the organisation.Working in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law and applicable regulations and the National Quality Standard for Early Childhood Education

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster
