What you will be doing
- Leading the implementation and operation of the Service Navigator program within Community Recovery
- Planning, delivering high quality community recovery support services including developing, implementing, and reviewing business processes.
- Building, maintaining and supporting collaborative relationships, networks and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including government and nongovernment agencies to deliver innovative and effective outcomes for vulnerable groups, families and individuals.
- Liaising with referral sources, including the Resilient Home Funds, to ensure seamless client support
- Ensuring integration with the Service Navigator Program Team, NCC delivery teams and the RHF.
- Ensuring operations are compliant under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
- Ensuring operations deliver requirements from the Director, DRFA Program.

What we are looking for
- Provides direction to others regarding the purpose and importance of their work. Illustrates the relationship between operational tasks and organisational goals. Sets work tasks that align with the strategic objectives and communicates expected outcomes.
- Experience in agile project methodologies, human-centred design and change management. You will have previous hands-on experience in delivering projects, organisational change management and service design.
- Knowledge of Queensland Disaster Management Arrangements and the department's lead functional agency responsibility for human and social recovery
- Experience of building, maintaining and leveraging established networks and connections in the local community to support the identification and engagement of providers
