**About the Role**

We are now seeking an experienced client-centric IT/AV Support Technician to join our Perth team, delivering corporate hybrid, virtual and in-house events and exams. This role is a permanent full-time position that is predominantly business hours; however, requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required by the business.

Your responsibilities will include planning, co-ordinating and executing the technical and non-technical aspects of room setups and virtual events, working alongside our experienced Head Office team and support technicians across our venues in Australia and globally.

This is a hands-on client facing role, giving you the opportunity to assist in delivering various aspects of corporate events. On a day-to-day basis, you will take ownership of all technical components of each event and assist with general day to day venue support.

**On a day-to-day level, the role will encompass**:

- Planning and executing technical and non-technical set-up and equipment requirements.
- Troubleshooting device related hardware, software, and network issues.
- Casual team supervision, rostering, on-the-job training and operational process development
- Welcoming clients on arrival, ensuring they have everything they need for their event and actioning any additional requests.
- Supervising of events requiring virtual connections, video and phone conferencing.
- Ensuring the venue is kept in pristine condition and is maintained throughout the day.

**About you**

In addition, you will:

- Have proven experience working in a primarily Windows based environment
- Have a solid knowledge of networking - TCP/IP, DHCP
- Have the ability to coordinate multi-premise video-conferencing solutions across both physical and virtual environments
- Show a solid understanding of audio-visual fundamentals and technologies
- Have experience managing and rostering a team of technical staff
- Demonstrate proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Possess excellent communication skills and a customer service focus
- Have experience in a fast-paced and multi-faceted environment
- Be calm under pressure, and able to make intelligent and effective decisions
- Display a strong attention to detail
- Have the ability to work unsupervised
- Have flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as the business requires
- Be physically fit and able to perform corporate event room setups
