About the role
Vidtiser Australia is seeking an experienced Lead AV Technician to join our dynamic team in Perth. As an Lead AV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of audio-visual equipment and systems within various settings, such as: corporate offices, educational institutions, hospitals, and retail spaces. This is a full-time position based in Perth, WA
What you'll be doing
- Lead and oversee AV installation projects from planning to completion.
- Install, configure, and commission professional AV systems, including displays, video conferencing, audio systems, control systems, and structured cabling.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior AV technicians and installers.
- Conduct site surveys, assess installation requirements, and develop technical solutions.
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Set out and install cabling infrastructure, including conduit, cable tray, ducting, and wire management systems.
- Perform rack wiring, terminations, and system integration.
- Read and interpret schematic diagrams, panel drawings, and rack layouts.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain project documentation, including commissioning records, as-built drawings, and user guides.
- Ensure compliance with WH&S standards and industry regulations.
- Occasionally travel to regional and remote client sites as required.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a AV Installer or in a similar industry
- Holds current: Construction Induction Card, EWP licence and Cabler Registration and endorsements
- Current valid Driver's License and Personal Vehicle
- Australian Citizenship to be able to access Secure Agency sites is desirable.
