The Australian Institute for Human Wellness is a mental health clinic located in the heart of the St George health district - Kogarah.

We are currently looking for a dedicated, hardworking and friendly receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. We are looking for someone who is available Fridays 8.30am-5.30pm. One day work to start, may increase to two days.

We are currently a team of eight psychologists and two reception staff.

Your role will involve the following:

- Provide reception and administration support to staff and clients of Australian Institute for Human Wellness.
- Greet clients, handle phone calls and enquiries, schedule appointments, and perform clerical duties such as data entry.
- Using practice management software to file records, printing, scanning and maintenance of medical records
- Process payments and Medicare/insurance reimbursement for clients.
- General housekeeping and cleaning, ensure reception areas and rooms are kept tidy/clean, outside of the regular cleaning services.
- Attend team meetings and take minutes
- Assist with basic marketing/social media management
- Communication with other Health care providers to facilitate patient care
- Maintain referral databases
- Mail outs to clients and referrers

You will be working closely with the company director and principal clinical psychologist, Dr Anastasia Hronis, and may also need to act as a personal assistant. This may involve:

- Helping manage diaries and scheduling meetings
- Booking travel and accommodation
- Provide support for accounts payable to contractors
- Taking minutes in meetings

About you:

- MUST have experience working in medical/health administration
- Degree/currently studying psychology desirable
- Often as the first point of contact clients have with our clinic, it is important that you are warm, friendly, empathetic and patient
- Reliable, driven and hardworking
- Flexible and adaptable
- Work well in a team
- Respectful, supportive and courteous to clients, referrers and staff
- Ability to manage under pressure
- Detail oriented and efficient in your work
- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality is maintained at all times

Must be willing to work on site. This is not a work from home position.
