- Salary Package: From $78,954 to $85,095 (HEW 4) p.a., plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Appointment Type: Full-time (35 hours per week), continuing position
- Location: Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde

The Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Student Support Assistant to join the Student Wellbeing team within the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dean of Students.

You will also provide administrative support to the Student Wellbeing and Accessibility teams, contribute to service improvements, and play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the unit.

This is a student-facing role that requires regular on-campus presence to provide frontline reception and wellbeing support.

About You
You will be a motivated and proactive professional with experience in administration or customer service. You bring strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to balance competing deadlines while providing a positive, student-focused experience. You enjoy working collaboratively, contributing to service improvements, and building effective relationships with stakeholders across the University.

Essential Criteria- Qualification or equivalent experience in administration, customer service, health sciences, or related discipline.- Knowledge of customer service and/or administration processes and associated policies.- Able to contribute to continual improvement and transformation initiatives in student support services.- Regular on-campus presence is required for this student-facing role.- Experience undertaking complex administration functions within tight deadlines.- Familiarity with key student support functions.- Ability to build and manage partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
