The Finance Business Partner is responsible for supporting the Finance team in the delivery of quality, timely and accurate reporting and analysis. Business partnering of key Betfair functions will be used to gain further insights into results and aid business partners in the achievement of their goals. Sound interesting? **Requirements**:
**Reporting to a top tier Finance Manager, everyday tasks this role will be responsible for include -**
- Undertaking business partnering to provide support to stakeholders, including: reviewing and advising on monthly performance, providing insight into results, proactively identifying improvement areas and solutions to problems and assisting in profit improvement initiatives
- Ensuring timely provision of daily, weekly, monthly, annual accounting reporting: Daily EBITDA report, weekly cash flow report, monthly management accounts and related analysis, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, monthly exchange revenue and product fee variance analysis, departmental monthly analysis reporting and half year and annual reporting
- Providing input into the development of forecasting, budgeting and five-year plans as the business continues to grow, which includes: managing assigned department’s annual budgets and monthly forecast, providing input into variable cost drivers and providing analysis and support on any ad hoc issues arising in any part of the business

**To be in the running for this great role, you should have**:

- Recently qualified CA/CPA with 2 years’ experience in a commercial environment
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced, dynamic, and changing environment
- Strong Excel skills including experience constructing complex yet understandable financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Strong budgeting and forecasting experience
- Keen attention to accuracy and detail and excellent written and presentational skills
- Ability to work across a broad range of stakeholders (financial/non-financial) in a self-confident and professional manner
- A willingness to learn harnessed with a pro-active personality and a good work ethic are equally vital
- Ability to work under own initiative, and enthusiasm to drive through change
- Sector experience and a strong interest in Racing and Sport would be beneficial but not required
