**About the Role**
As a **Treasury Specialist**, you'll be at the heart of managing the BOQ Group’s wholesale long-term funding portfolio, including securitisation. This role is all about maintaining these programmes, reporting on issued transactions, and lending a hand with various small initiatives and projects within the team. It's a 12-month fixed contract, stepping in for a team member who is dedicated to completing a project.
You'll be working closely with internal teams like Treasury, Market Risk, Treasury Operations, and Finance, as well as external partners such as debt investors, rating agencies, joint lead managers, portfolio trustees, and legal counsel.
Your day-to-day will involve managing transactions in line with legal documentation and regulatory requirements, monitoring and reporting on existing securitisation transactions, and driving efficiencies in reporting processes. You'll also be managing financial and non-financial risk obligations, fostering a strong risk culture within the team, and supporting the Head of Funding and other senior team members in delivering projects and small initiatives.
**About you**
We're looking for someone with a solid background in funding and securitisation markets. You should have a keen interest in staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and interpreting standards related to Treasury & Financial Markets. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must, and if you have VBA or SQL skills, that's a bonus.
Experience in a Treasury & Financial Markets environment is essential, along with the ability to work autonomously and manage small initiatives. Strong people management skills are crucial, as is a focus on both financial and non-financial risk. Ideally, you will have tertiary qualifications in a Finance discipline, with post-graduate qualifications being highly desirable.
If you're passionate about financial markets, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and have the skills and experience we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact within our team and help drive our long-term funding strategy forward.
