About the Role:
We have an exciting, brand new opportunity for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Brand department on a permanent full time basis based out of Blackburn, Melbourne with flexible working arrangements.

This position plays a critical role in supporting the Digital Marketing team by assisting with digital copywriting, community management (social media) and website updates and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research and develop content that maximises opportunities identified by the SEO Specialist to lift SEO rankings for The Salvation Army sites based on relevant topics and keywords
- Respond to enquiries via social channels, engaging with comments and monitoring activity during campaign periods and as required
- Participate as part of the community management team across social media channels including providing community members with relevant information to access The Salvation Army support and services
- Support the CX team with updates and maintenance to The Salvation Army sites as well as assisting to triage enquiries from internal stakeholders in need of support
- Drive reporting for campaigns and activities as well as regular reporting requirements across digital marketing team
- Lead digital properties audits and policy compliance checking when relevant

About you:

- Degree in marketing/business or equivalent (or related discipline)
- 2+ years’ experience in a general digital marketing role
- Demonstrated strong digital copywriting skills for various audiences
- Refined communication skills to provide support to community members seeking support via social media channels
- Understanding of digital campaign strategy and delivery
- Understanding of best practice social media marketing and community management
- Experience using CMS tools highly desirable
