**Position Gift in Wills Acquisition Specialist**

**Role Purpose**
The Gift in Wills Acquisition Specialist is responsible for driving the growth of the Gift in Wills program by identifying,
cultivating, and securing new legacy donors. This role involves creating and executing strategic campaigns across
multiple channels to engage potential donors, ensuring a seamless journey from initial contact through to conversion.
Collaborating closely with the Gift in Wills Retention Specialist, the incumbent will focus on expanding the donor
pipeline, enhancing donor engagement, and contributing to the long-term sustainability of the program. Through data
- driven insights, the Specialist will continuously optimise campaigns and initiatives to maximise donor acquisition and
retention.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement comprehensive acquisition strategies for Gift in Wills aquisition
- Lead the planning and execution of a Gift in Wills value proposition that meets donors needs
- Continuously monitor program performance, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize campaign
effectiveness and donor acquisition strategies.**

- Manage and optimise digital marketing initiatives, such as online surveys,

implement compelling content strategies that educate and inspire prospective
donors.
- Oversee telemarketing activities to identify individuals interested in legacy
giving, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

optimisation and enhance acquisition strategies.
**Analysis and Reporting**- Generate regular reports on lead generation, conversion rates, and pipeline
growth to inform internal stakeholders.

the CRM system or relevant database.

**Qualifications/Work Experience**
- Years minimum demonstrated experience in legacy giving or planned giving
fundraising.
- Proven track record in designing and executing successful multi-channel acquisition
campaigns, including digital, telemarketing, and print.
Essential
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, social media
platforms like Campaign Monitor.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical abilities to monitor, interpret, and optimise campaign performance data.
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Marketing, Communications, or a related
field.
Desirable - Strong understanding of current fundraising trends and best practices.
- Experience in the social impact or disability sector.
- Proven project management skills.
